The ZapPrep Program matches every student with a personal tutor to help with college admissions consulting. The program lasts two months, during which the student receives an in-depth written assessment analyzing the student’s application with points on how to improve chances of admission, unlimited access to a ZapPrep tutor for any questions regarding college admissions or college life (submitted via e-mail), and up to 5 hours of “face to face” tutoring with the student through video chat or phone call.
All students complete an in-depth informational form, a customized version of the college application, allowing the tutor to get a sense of the student’s achievements and goals. The tutor will then analyze the information and create a report discussion how the student can be more competitive. This report and the suggestions involved will be discussed in-depth during the “face to face” tutoring sessions. The tutor will help the student develop a plan to carry out suggestions.
ZapPrep tutors also help students prepare college applications, edit essays, and realize/capitalize opportunities available to them. Upon completion of “face to face” tutoring, ZapPrep remains available for students and parents as a resource for detailed answers to any questions regarding the college admissions process. Additional months of assistance can be provided at a great discounted rate for current customers.
Age Requirements
This program suitable for freshman-seniors. The younger the student the more time they have to carry out suggestions to include in application. The closer they are to application, the more tutor can help them with actual application process (essays, creating list of colleges, developing schedule, etc.)
